Term One

So far term one is going well. It has passed by so quickly it just feels like school started a week ago. In term one, I have done well and I am hoping to improve more. I.T. class is pretty easy so far, and fun too. I never thought I was good at computers and stuff, but during this first term, I have found out that I'm really not that bad. Photo shop is my favorite thing about I.T. class. It's super fun, and somewhat easy. Overall, term one has been a good term and I hope that the rest of the terms will be good and fun.

GoOgle Street View

This my house on Google Street View. On Google Street View you can see peoples houses and streets from a street view just as if you were walking along the street. Many people may not like this because it is invading their privacy. I think that this is kind of cool because you can get easy directions and a great visual, but it is kinda of invading peoples personal space.

Appearance

I think that way to many people focus to much on their looks. I guess its okay to make yourself look presentable, but you don't need to spend hours and hours on getting ready. In today's world, most of the people are striving to look better and pretty, and are setting a bad example to the younger girls in the world. Men and women are wanting to look perfect and to be perfect, but there is no perfect in this world.

This year...

I'm looking forward to Ignite this year. I hope my class will do A LOT better than last year, which I think we will. I also am looking forward to all the many great things that this year will bring.One thing that I am not looking forward to this year is doing all the homework, studying for test, and final exams. But I think that all the good things that will happen this year will definitely make up for it. I hope that everyone will be able to grow closer to God and walk in his ways.

AI Robots

I think that robots are cool but I don't think that they should be doing stuff for us. We are very capable of doing all the things that robots can do right now. Making robots is fine and a good way for us to learn, but I don't think we should abuse this and make the robots do everything for us while we just sit back and do barely nothing.

Rockridge Retreat '09

On the second day of school, we headed on our trip to Rockridge Canyon for our school retreat. It took about 4-5 hours of traveling on buses to reach our destination which was a few kilometers past Princeton. The bus ride was pretty boring, lots of people slept. When we got there we were instructed to our cabins and rooms, which was very chaotic. Everyone was switching rooms and stuff. Before dinner on the first day, my friend Rachel and I went kayaking on the man made lake. Which I did all the work while Rachel relaxed. During the second day, me and a bunch of friends went on the awesome zipline, kayaking, and even the rope course that gave me bruises. But it was all very fun. Overall, it was a great time, and I look forward to going back.
